Safe for who matters

Pet-aware. Family-aware. Always.

Every product we apply is EPA-registered and chosen because it works on pests and plays fair with the people and animals who actually live in the home.

Perimeter-first treatment

Pests travel along edges — foundations, eaves, weep holes, door frames. We treat there, not across living spaces where kids and pets actually spend time.

Re-entry safe in 30 minutes

Interior treatments dry quickly. After a 30-minute window, you, the kids, and the dog can move through any treated area normally.

Full transparency, every visit

Your tech tells you exactly what is being applied, where, and why. No mystery sprays. No back-of-the-truck mixes. EPA labels on file for everything we use.

Honest restraint

If an issue does not need treatment, we say so. Carl told a Fulshear customer her gnat problem would resolve on its own — and treated only what mattered. That is the standard.

Section 01 · Flagship plan

Quarterly Pest Control — $104 to start.

Quarterly is the right cadence for almost every Texas home. Pest pressure shifts every 90 days — spring carpenter ants, summer mosquitoes, fall roaches, winter rodents — and one well-timed treatment per season stays ahead of the next wave.

Every visit follows the same pattern: walk the property, identify what is active, treat the perimeter and entry points, document what was done. The first visit also includes interior treatment under sinks, in the garage, and in the utility room. Subsequent visits are exterior-only unless you ask otherwise.

Covered pests
  • · Ants (sugar, carpenter, crazy)
  • · Roaches (American, smoky brown, wood)
  • · Spiders
  • · Wasps & hornets
  • · Silverfish, earwigs, crickets

German roach infestations are a separate specialty service with different pricing — call for a German roach quote.

Every visit, every time
  • · Interior & exterior inspection
  • · Interior dust & bait in bathrooms, kitchens, harboring areas
  • · Remove cobwebs, mud daubers & wasp nests within reach
  • · Treat entry points around windows, awnings & doors
  • · Dust weep holes & voids
  • · Perimeter treatment — 1–2′ up the foundation, 3–4′ out
  • · Blow off driveway, patio & walkways
  • · Detailed service report (what we used, where, helpful tips)
Section 02 · Add-on · $65/mo

Mosquito Control Service — $65 a month, fog + traps.

Houston humidity makes most of the year mosquito season. Our mosquito plan is a flat $65 per month — monthly fogging across the harborage zones in your yard, plus two placed mosquito traps near the house to keep pressure down between visits.

We fog under decks, dense shrubs, fence lines, and irrigation wet spots where adult mosquitoes rest during the heat of the day. The two placed traps then pull in any new arrivals between fog days. Honest note: the textbook ideal is a 3-week cycle, but the real-world cost-to-results sweet spot for our customers is monthly fog plus the traps, which is what we run.

Covers
  • · Asian tiger mosquito (yellow fever)
  • · Common house mosquito
  • · Salt marsh mosquito
  • · Larval breeding sites we can see
What’s included
  • · Monthly yard fogging across harborage zones
  • · Two (2) placed mosquito traps near the home
  • · Standing-water audit + recommendations
  • · Flat $65 / month — no surprise upcharges
Section 03 · Free inspection

Termite Inspection — free, honest, no upsell.

Texas has subterranean termites in nearly every neighborhood. The question is not whether they are nearby. The question is whether your home has the conditions that invite them in.

Our free termite inspection is exactly that — free, with no obligation to buy anything. We check the perimeter for mud tubes, look for swarmer wings near windows and weep holes, probe suspect wood, and tell you what we found in plain language. If termites are not present, we say so and leave. If they are, we walk you through what treatment options actually look like for your specific situation.

Inspection checks
  • · Mud tubes (foundation + slab)
  • · Swarmer wings & debris
  • · Wood probing (suspect areas)
  • · Moisture conditions
  • · Structural risk callouts
Treatment options
  • · Liquid soil treatment (perimeter)
  • · Termite bait stations
  • · Targeted spot treatment
  • · Annual monitoring + re-inspection
Section 04 · Trap & bait

Rodent Control — honest about what we do.

Rats and mice follow gaps — soffit corners, AC line penetrations, garage door seals, weep holes oversized by past contractors. The long-term fix is sealing those gaps. Here is how we approach that honestly:

We do not do exclusion work ourselves. What we do is walk your exterior, point out every entry point we find, and write it up in your service report so you know exactly where to seal. Most homeowners handle the sealing themselves with materials from a hardware store — it’s straightforward once you know where to look.

For bigger jobs — roof work, attic gaps, anything that needs a ladder up high — we refer you to a trusted exclusion partner in the industry who handles that kind of work professionally. While the sealing gets handled, we run the trap and bait side on our end: tamper-resistant exterior bait stations, monitored interior snap traps, and follow-up checks on every quarterly visit.

Covers
  • · Roof rats
  • · Norway rats
  • · House mice
  • · Field mice
What’s included
  • · Full exterior entry-point audit
  • · Written list of every gap to seal
  • · Tamper-resistant exterior bait stations
  • · Monitored interior snap traps
  • · Re-check on every quarterly visit
  • · Referral to our exclusion partner for major sealing work
Section 05 · Texas-specific

Fire Ant Control — yard-wide, not mound-by-mound.

Spot-treating fire ant mounds with hardware-store granules pushes the colony 10 feet over and rebuilds the mound in two weeks. Yard-wide bait treatment is the only thing that actually collapses the colony, including the queens you cannot see.

We broadcast a slow-acting bait across your entire turf so worker ants carry it back to the queen before they realize what it is. Within 4–6 weeks the colony stops producing new workers and the mounds collapse. We follow up at 90 days to handle any new colonies that have moved in from neighboring properties.

Why broadcast bait
  • · Reaches queens, not just workers
  • · Yard-wide vs mound-by-mound
  • · Pet-aware once dry
  • · Works on the colonies you cannot see yet
What’s included
  • · Yard-wide bait broadcast
  • · Spot treatment for active mounds
  • · 90-day follow-up
  • · Free re-treat if mounds return

Residential FAQ

The 10 questions homeowners ask.

  • How much does residential pest control cost in Richmond, TX?

Quarterly residential service starts at $104 plus tax. Final pricing depends on the size of the home, the pest activity, and what the free inspection reveals. Most Richmond, Fulshear, and Katy homes fall within the $104–$165 quarterly range.

  • Is your treatment safe for pets and kids?

Yes. We use pet- and family-aware EPA-registered products, applied to the perimeter, eaves, weep holes, and entry points where pests travel — not in the open living areas of your home. After interior treatment, surfaces are dry and re-entry-safe within 30 minutes. We let you know exactly what we are using and where, every visit.

  • How often should I have residential pest control done?

Quarterly is the right cadence for most Texas homes. Pest pressure shifts with temperature and rainfall — different pests show up in spring, summer, fall, and winter. Quarterly treatments stay ahead of those shifts. Mosquito and German roach plans run on their own monthly cadence outside the quarterly schedule.

  • Do I need to be home for service?

Only the first visit. After that, every quarterly service is exterior-only, and you do not need to be home. We treat the foundation, eaves, doors, windows, and weep holes from outside.

  • How fast will you come back if pests come back between visits?

Within 24 hours when scheduling allows. That is the Rhino Promise. If pests reappear between scheduled services, we re-treat at no charge and adjust the plan.

  • How long does residential pest control last?

A standard quarterly application protects for approximately 90 days under typical Texas conditions. Heavy rain, new construction nearby, or seasonal swarming pressure can shorten that window — which is why our re-treat policy is free.

  • What pests are covered in the quarterly plan?

Ants, roaches, spiders, wasps, silverfish, earwigs, and crickets are covered in the standard quarterly plan. Mosquitoes, termites, rodents, and fire ants are handled by add-on plans because they need different products and inspection cadences.

  • Do you offer one-time pest control instead of recurring?

Yes. We do one-time services for specific issues — a single ant trail, a wasp nest, a roach treatment before guests arrive. Most homeowners switch to quarterly after a one-time visit because it costs less per visit and prevents the next round.

  • How experienced is your team?

Over thirty-seven years of combined experience across the Rhino crew. Every technician is licensed, insured, and trained on Texas-specific pest pressure under Texas Pest Control License TPLC0887540.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

Credit card, cash, or check. Whatever is easiest for you. Quarterly billing is automatic on the date of service.
