Faith
Love God. Serve people. Stop pests. The order matters. We answer to a standard higher than the customer’s checkbook.
A five-person field crew. Thirty-seven years of combined pest control experience. One Richmond, TX home base. We treat Greater Houston homes and businesses the way we’d treat our own — honest, careful, and on time.
Gary Kirkowski’s specialty has always been people — reading them, understanding them, connecting with them. He started in pest control on the sales side, moved up to sales manager, then general manager of a pest control company before going out on his own to build Rhino the way he believed it should be built.
Headquartered in Richmond, TX, Rhino is family-owned and women-owned. Gary’s wife Crosby Kirkowski is co-owner and Office Administrator. The company is rooted in Fort Bend County and grown by referrals from neighbors, school districts, and chambers across Greater Houston.
The mission on the truck — Love God. Serve people. Stop pests. — isn’t a marketing line. It’s the order Gary lives in.
“It isn’t a marketing line — it’s the heartbeat of who I am. My first priority in every aspect of my life is God and my relationship with Him. The byproduct of that is the desire to serve and help people. Stop pests is what a pest control company does — that’s a given. It’s the first two things that set us apart. Loving God and serving people is what makes us so good at stopping pests. The mission works in reverse too: we stop pests, which lets us serve people, which can give us an opportunity to talk to people about loving God.”
Relationships. That word covers a lot of ground at Rhino — customer service, community involvement, sponsorships, the way the crew shows up.
If a customer has trouble paying a bill because of extenuating circumstances, the service still happens. If there’s a death in the family or a new baby, a card goes out. It isn’t a transactional “customer service” pledge with policies and exceptions — it’s how Gary and Crosby want every Rhino customer to be treated, full stop.
That’s why the same techs come back every visit. Why the chambers and ISDs Rhino sponsors get genuine support, not logo placement. Why Gary still picks up the phone for customers he’s served for years.
Faith. Integrity. Service. Excellence. Community. Not slogans — the actual filter every job runs through.
Love God. Serve people. Stop pests. The order matters. We answer to a standard higher than the customer’s checkbook.
If a treatment isn’t needed, we don’t sell it. If a gap can be sealed with a $4 hardware-store fix, we point at it. The job is the truth, not the upsell.
Same techs every visit. 24-hour arrival when scheduling allows. Free re-treats between visits. Pet- and family-aware on every product, every time.
QualityPro Certified. Smith Driving Certified. Texas-licensed under TPLC0887540. Combined decades of pest-control experience across the crew. Detailed service report every visit.
Fulshear Chamber Board of Directors. Chamber Chaplain. School-district sponsorships across Lamar, Deer Park, Rice, Texas City, Caldwell, Splendora, and Sweeny ISDs.
Rhino runs as a family business with a tight crew. Gary and Crosby Kirkowski own and run the company. Four field technicians and one sales canvasser cover Fort Bend and Greater Houston. The big chains rotate techs through your home like a lottery. We don’t.
That continuity matters more than people realize. Your tech remembers the wasp nest by the eaves last summer, the rats that came in through the garage seal, the mosquito hot spot near the irrigation line. Pattern recognition is what fixes pests for good.
Started in pest control sales, moved through sales manager and general manager roles, then founded Rhino. Fulshear Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Chamber Chaplain, and active BNI (Business Network International) member.
Co-owner and Office Administrator. The reason Rhino is a women-owned business and the person who keeps the back office running so the field crew can focus on the work.
Operations Manager and Launch Partner. Level-headed and unruffled under pressure. Loves people, problem-solves on the fly.
Easily relates to customers and the problems they’re calling about. Goes above and beyond to make sure people feel taken care of — the kind of work that gets him named in 5-star reviews.
By-the-book and methodical. Early riser, first truck out, gets the work done the right way.
Deeply thorough and pest-industry educated. Knows the bugs, the chemistry, and the equipment cold — the tech to ask the technical question.
Youngest one on the team and the personality to match — outgoing, funny, quirky. The friendly knock-on-the-door for new Rhino neighborhoods.
